Background

About David Tuber

Born in the Chicago suburb of Wheeling, IL, David began pursuing his dream of working in animation at the age of four. After graduating from Columbia College Chicago in 2005, he moved to Los Angeles to get his start in the industry as a storyboard artist on [adult swim]'s hit show "Robot Chicken" at ShadowMachine Films. Here, he also worked on "Moral Orel" with creator/writer, Dino Stamatopoulos, and director, Chris McKay. Before the show's end, he was granted the opportunity to co-write and direct the series finale. He then went on to direct two seasons of "Mary Shelley's Frankehole". After this, he re-teamed with Chris McKay as a story artist on his first feature,"The LEGO Movie", which led to his involvement on all the Lego features and further projects at Warner Bros. He has been fortunate to work on "BoJack Horseman","The Angry Birds Movie" and numerous other projects.
