Now a Professional Transition Specialist, David has extensive training and experience in consultation and facilitation in areas of change and conflict, strategic planning, staff review and alignment, and viewing the congregation as an emotional system. David has successfully served as transition consultant and pastor of congregations where the behavior of the preceding leadership has deeply affected the congregational system. He is a quiet, spiritual leader whose gifts are to lead the congregation through loss and change to a fresh identity. David has been a leader in developing materials for Boundary Awareness for leadership and crafting policies for the protection of children and youth against sexual abuse by adults. Having received a certificate to administer and interpret the MBTI in 1986 he has helped countless parishioners, students and professionals to understand their type. Most recently he is developing his grasp of strength-based leadership though the use of StrenghtsFinder and a process of building on strengths through a unique process called Appreciative Inquiry.
