About Davida Rosenbloom

I specialize in work with individual clients, couples and families. I am pragmatic, empathic, and strive for clarity and common sense approach which is appropriate to work on the goals and objectives of my clients. The type of theory depends upon the situation of the client and may be solution focused brief therapy, cognitive/behavioral or psychodynamic. Over the course of their therapy, I have witnessed clients grow in their ability to relate to others; they seem to develop internal scaffolding to deal with the stress and chaos of society and when they leave treatment, I hear a "stronger voice". My practices focuses on clients who have various mood, anxiety, and trauma disorders, as well as those concerned with life adjustments, relationship conflicts, and other stressful feelings. Primary relationships are very important and I wanted to specialize in couples and families. Therefore, I received my certification in "family systems" at Northwestern University's Family Institute after graduate school. I have found that even when not working directly with a couple, or a family, the knowledge of those dynamics are helpful when working with individuals of all ages.
