About Davide Speranza

Senior Oil & Gas and environmental professional, contributed to the HSE activities and cultures as biodiversity and environmental expert with background in ecology and biodiversity conservation. Worked as HSE focal point in selected offshore exploration phase projects, assigned as HSE Manager to Eni Cyprus and Eni Côte d’Ivoire. Recently, focused his professional and personal experience to R&D blue economy projects, considering the circularity a strategic field to partially abate anthropogenic impacts. Acquired additional competencies on supervising operational activities and promoting the implementation of safety culture to achieve zero incidents. Proved team worker as well as individual thinker, he uses technical knowledge, passion and inter-discipline engagement to accomplish given tasks. Marine & Oceanographic Biologist by formation (and passion), his field work experiences range from marine and coastal environmental monitoring surveys to benthic biocenosis ecology. Ecotoxicological experience (lab and fieldworks) at the "Helmholts Centre for Environmental Research - UFZ"​ (Leipzig) and the "Marine Biological Association of the UK"(Plymouth).
