I am a friendly and confident person who enjoys inclusive work places and various sports activities. I am bilingual in English and British Sign Language. Currently I am self-employed Hermes delivery driver and run my own Amazon business. I am self-motivated and have a willingness to succeed in anything that I put my mind to. As much as I enjoy the business side of work I am also caring and enjoy working with a variety of people. I have taught, mentored, and coached sports to deaf and hearing children and always encouraged them to develop their educational skills for the future. I have always been passionate about supporting and organising events for both deaf children and non-deaf children and young people. I enjoy helping, supporting, and instructing people with disabilities. I enjoy working with children, encouraging them to reach their full potential in many ways. I am dependable and able to communicate effectively using BSL and English. I am able to work independently, think on my feet, follow instructions, design and implement programmes and projects as part of a team. I have varied skills ranging from excellent interpersonal skills to outstanding IT skills,(including Microsoft Office). I am flexible and willing to try new and challenging things and do my utmost to get a job done. Colleagues often comment on how organised and proactive I am. I have run Youth clubs and deaf clubs for the Royal Association of the Deaf and have worked as a cover BSL Teacher teaching students Signature BSL Level 1, 2, 3, & 4. As a Sport Development Officer at Remark Community, I arranged weekly sport events for children and young people, and it was my responsibility to organise and secure venues, equipment, and liaised communication with schools to ensure children and young people attended our events. I created the programme lists while ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day. I am always proactive with sports, am well organized and make sure that customer’s happiness comes first with any support I can give them. I have experience in developing my own training courses in deaf awareness to deliver these to school staff. I have training and experience in First Aid, Diversity, Fire safety, Deaf Blind Manual communication, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Manual handling. Willing to relocate: Anywhere
