About Dax Herman

As a graduate in Work & Organizational Psychology, I have always been fascinated by the way people work and how they interact within organizations. During my time in university I was active in the Study Association VSPA, which garnered me a basic knowledge on how to manage a business. That spark lit a fire to continue learning about business management. During my studies I dipped my toes into entrepreneurial waters, so to speak, by writing, promoting, publishing, distributing and selling my own novel. After completing my bachelors, I decided to pursue that entrepreneurial path and opened my own restaurant. This experience taught me invaluable skills and knowledge about the hospitality industry, leadership, team building and costumers service. Currently, I am leveraging my background in psychology and my entrepreneurial experience in IT for ING. I work closely with the Management Team to optimize processes and systems, while ensuring the employees engagement and motivation to deliver their best work. With my passion for people I always try to deepen my knowledge, finding new ways to improve the way organizations work and how they can best support their employees. During my free time you can find me indulged in dusty vinyl records stores to dig up rare vinyl records from all over the world and read fiction to broaden my perspective on the human condition.
