About Dean Walker
Working for the UK Civil Service, working across a multitude of roles and departments from customer facing local teams through to policy and operational teams, I took the opportunity to change paths and countries and moved to Germany. After training as a CELTA qualified English teacher, I took the challenge to work for easyJet and accepted a position as Cabin Crew at Berlin Schönefeld airport. From there I progressed through the ranks to Cabin Manager, Cabin Crew Line Trainer, People Support Manager and undertook a year's temporary secondment as Base Manager at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport. After returning to Berlin having learned so much during my time about the organisation as well as myself, I have just been appointed Base Manager in Berlin.
