About Deb Uber

Throughout my 45+ years of employment I have been a care provided at a Children's Home for Children with Developmental Disabilities; a training manager at a large, well-established department store; an Employee Relations Director at a hospital in Allentown; starter-upper of a Christian school; builder-upper of a county literacy council; and, then a director for two agencies that provided services for adults with developmental disabilities with responsibilities including advocacy, development of curriculum and training for both staff and consumers, recruitment and human resource policy development. In my personal life, I was a kindergarten teacher and housemother for 3 years in the moonshine hollers of Kentucky at the Red Bird Mission. I am also retired pastor's wife who spent most of my adult life playing the piano when there was no pianist, teaching the children when there was no teacher, developing and hosting Mother's Day teas, Bible studies, and Christmas/Easter programs and producing a weekly bulletin. Now, I am retired but work as an independent contractor for SKILLS, Inc.
