About Debbie Crawford

20+ years in public sector workforce development moving from frontline roles through to development of frontline roles including care, health, education and public sector. I’m now Head of Service - Learning Central supporting the workforce to have the key skills to deliver on great services for our residents, children and young people. My evolution from a practitioner to a teacher through to a strategic leader has certainly enabled me to fully understand The challenges faced and the solutions required to establish a confident and well skilled workforce. My work in support of local and national programmes of learning across the workforce and including apprenticeship trailblazers, has certainly created great opportunities to understand and engage with colleagues in other agencies and local authorities across the UK.
