A highly committed and effective Early Intervention and Family Support Strategic Manager who is passionate in ensuring that babies, children, young people and families are engaged and supported at the earliest opportunity. utilising valuable experience of developing and providing family support within early years settings, social care and health environments ensures a particularly strong knowledge and skill base in developing shared vision, utilising excellent faciltation, communication and people skills. Working in a multi agency environment, achievements to date; Developing partnership working arrangements with all schools within the borough enabling 100% engagement in the extended schools programme. Developing the borough wide Play Strategy including extensive consultation with children 8-13 and with multiagency partners to enable everyday play opportunities. Development and implementation of an evidenced based, inclusive early intervention and family support programme which involved co design of services with all partners, decommissioning of services and lead officer in the commissioning process. Lead the successful development of a multiagency,inclusive locality response for very young families through children's centres including the development and successful implementation of a robust supervision policy and processes. Strategic lead for Children's centre collaborations, including performance management and governanace. Successfully led a 3 month borough wide public consultation with regard to changes to services for young families informing future shaping of the service. Currently lead a large early intervention and family support multi agency team (16) which provides support to Families,Early Years Settings, Children's Centres and Schools Trained bereavement counsellor undertaken on a voluntary basis.
