About Declan Kenny

I have recently achieved a PhD in Politics from the University of Leeds. My thesis attempted to ground a critical cosmopolitanism, reconceptualising structural injustice frameworks in order to focus on the rules, norms, and broader rationality that frames the widespread agential action that produces a range of global structural injustices (e.g. sweatshop working conditions). During my PhD I taught for three years in Undergraduate Sociology and Politics courses. This included courses that introduced students to key theorists and themes within social and political theory. This has given me extensive experience teaching, lesson planning, marking, and working one-on-one with students. I also have extensive experience organising academic events as part of the internships undertaken during my PhD (see experience). I am currently looking for full-time and part-time remote positions. I can help students of all ages with their writing and research skills for essays, research applications, and thesis chapters. This includes working one-on-one with students and/or providing extensive comments on written work. I am also looking to branch out and build on my experience of writing commission pieces on issues of current affairs, culture, and politics.
