About Deejay Hamilton

I work in the footwear department as the footwear lead and handle many different tasks such as running shoes out to customers, answering phone calls, organizing shoe boxes in back-stock, unloading and organizing shoes from the truck on delivery days. I also have been given more managerial tasks such as creating schedules and budgeting payroll for my department. My department is responsible for over 30% of my store’s total sales and did over $7 million last yearMy main role is to keep our back-stock in order by managing incoming truck shipments, restocking, and replenishing the sales floor in an organized and timely fashion. With a leadership role I also try to be an example to our other hourly associates and train them to be the best versions of themselves.
