About Deepshikha Sharma

With an aim to bridge the gap between theoretical methods & industry implementation, Prof. Deepshika is a vocal advocate of interactive teaching who encourages open communication & discussion in her classrooms. Prof. Deepshika has transitioned from the role of a Legal Executive, to an Academician with efficiency & grace. She has supported & mentored 50+ students as part of her career journey in this domain. With her passion towards the research domain of Law, Prof. Deepshika has 6 published Research Papers & Book Chapters to her name. Her research paper ‘A Comparative Analysis of Insider Trading laws in India, United Kingdom, and The United State of America' was published in UGC-Care approved Journal (2022). Her paper ‘Brewing Insider Trading Provision in India with E-Governance’ was published in Journal of Ilkogretim Online - Elementary Education Online (2021) & her book chapter ‘Impact Analysis of false and misleading Advertisements: Creativity at the cost of faith and Health’ was published in ‘Contemporary challenges in consumer protection’ book by Principal, Y.C Law College, Pune. In her current role as Assistant Professor at Vishwakarma University, she is handling the responsibilities of the Officer on Special Duty for the Legal Cell & the coordinating diverse programs for UG Law courses. She is also a core member of VU- Digital & also assists students in their dissertations, placements & career progression. Prof. Deepshika, being a vocal advocate of continuous efforts, has also taken a step towards enhancing her skills & proactive learning, enabling her growth. She has successfully completed many Skill-building courses, Faculty Development Programs, webinars & workshops including the ‘Course on Negotiation mastery’ by Harvard Business School, Company Secretary Course from ICSI & diplomas in International Business and Corporate Laws in India, Cyber Law & Human Resource Management to name a few.
