Quality Control Inspector with significant experience spanning over a decade as Metal Tradesmen in the oil, gas & energy industry including, but not limited to new construction, pre-construction, project control, material’s handling, metal fabrication, carrying out the duties of scheduled or unscheduled maintenance activities in Upgrader’s, Refinery’s, Mines & Power Generation Facilities. Additional experience in project control, carrying out the duties of scheduled or unscheduled maintenance activities, Arc welding, MIG welding, ASME standards, CSA standards, API standards, performance of NDT, metal fabrication and materials. Currently hold a Welding Red Seal Certification and a 3rd year Boilermaker Apprentice with training in both from The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology along with being an active member of The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers. Currently seeking a position within a company that will view my skill set as valuable and a beneficial addition to their team. QUALIFICATIONS: o Computers (Microsoft Office Programs, Adobe Acrobat, Windows Operating Systems, Typing 50+ WPM) o Blue Print Reading including Isometric Drawings and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&I.D.) o Full knowledge of construction management, contract management, field supervision, plant maintenance and cost management. o Complete understanding of numerous types of inspections along with welding, construction safety, industrial safety, nondestructive testing, steel structures, boilers, pressure vessels, cranes, forklift operating, change orders and quantity surveying. o Thrives in environments requiring the capacity to prioritize concurrent projects both calmly and efficiently. o Ability to communicate with various types of people and personalities which aids in cultivating client relationships, diffusing situations and having positive interactions with colleagues.
