About Destiny Simmons

Destiny Simmons is an illustrator by trade who has come to love all things design and education in their independent studies. Their first design internship was with a small agency based in Philadelphia called the 'Wilson Concept'. Destiny has up to 5 years of professional Graphic Design experience. While going through college, Destiny looked to land opportunities that would push them out of their comfort zone and expand their knowledge in design and Education. In their junior year, Destiny landed an internship with the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia through Studio Institute. The responsibilities focused on Creative Marketing, Photography, Graphic Design, Videography, and Education. Destiny has worked with the Japan America Society of Greater Philadelphia from 2018 until early 2021. In 2020, they picked up a UI/UX position with Draft Studios and Coded By Kids until they finally moved to Japan. Destiny now works within the community using their magical Digital Marketing and hypeman skills and works in Japan as a web designer with Wizcorp | Waste Creative. Education, Accessibility, and Design are extremely important to Destiny and they are always looking for opportunities to expand their knowledge on these subjects.
