About Devin Schaffner

Devin believes good design possess a story; there should be reasons for why something is done and an emotional connection should be expressed congruently throughout a design. He believes in instilling intention and purpose into a design without compromising its story. Human interactions with products, spaces, and structures need to have a focus around how we experience them, we need to connect with spaces and products, and enjoy or interaction with them. Devin believes positive experiences can be achieved on many levels, such as connecting design to our local environments; generate quality results that are useable within our everyday lives, while including subtle playful attributes into a design, with an aesthetic that has a simple and straight forward solution to contrast our busy and hectic lives. The idea of developing and enjoying the experience and the interactions with new products, and environments enthusiastically pushes Devin to develop new ideas that enhance the quality of life.
