About Devon Nedoroscik

My name is Devon Nedoroscik, I am a twenty-two-year-old eSports expert holding a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from the University at Albany in New York, alongside a minor in East Asian Studies, focusing on eSports. During my junior year, I furthered my knowledge of eSports by studying abroad at Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea. It was in Seoul where I was able to immerse myself in the home of eSports and the culture surrounding it by visiting eSports corporate headquarters, team PC-bangs, and even being featured on Korean television! In addition to this, I hold an Associate's Degree in History from Hudson Valley Community College, in Troy, New York. I am currently seeking a full-time career in the eSports and gaming industry. My previous experience working for Red Bull actively challenged and required me to utilize interpersonal and networking skills to broaden a brand and company image while simultaneously implementing eSports and gaming into the everyday tasks of myself and my team. During my time at Red Bull, I have: Led the organization, activation, and execution of the Red Bull Campus Clutch Global Valorant Tournament’s online qualifiers, Northeast Regional Final, and United States National Final in 2022 Took part in driving awareness and attendance, as well as staffing the event of the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series in Boston, United States during its 2022, and 2023 iterations Raised over $400 in donations for “Team Northeast” during the Wings for Life World Run in both 2022 and 2023 respectively Previously, I held an internship at The Martinez Art Gallery, and worked for Geek Squad at Best Buy. It was during these two employments where I learned the ins-and-outs of eCommerce, gaming technology, Windows & MacOS hardware and software, and the fundamentals of building of gaming-oriented computers. The experience gained from my previous jobs has taught me valuable skills in eSports, marketing, management, and information technology, and will prove valuable to my future employers.
