About Diane Graves

I am a proficient office manager for a non-profit private academy, child care and the supporting church, as well as the child care director. With over 10 years of experience, I handle a wide variety of administrative tasks and coordinate office operations and procedures with efficiency and effectiveness. I excel in attention to detail and problem solving; while possessing excellent written and verbal communication skills. Microsoft Office and QuickBooks software are some examples of areas in which I surpass all others.Most recently, I streamlined our employee benefits and integrated all our payroll data into an online portal, allowing employees 24 hour access to their compensation and benefit history. I am currently working closely with the treasurer and board of directors on a proposal for increasing employee benefits and compensation, geared towards employee retention. For the past 4 years, I have organized an annual event benefitting the children and families in the community. This event enables employees to express their care for our customers and our city while increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty.I am pursuing a position in human resources, as I find myself drawn to our employees and the challenges they face. I enjoy working closely with leaders and employees to find a solution to most situations that is mutually beneficial to the company and the employee. My goal is to utilize my years of education and experience to bring new ideas and life to a growing organization. My ideal position will allow me to analyze employee circumstances, problem solve, and create opportunities to improve employee relations. I am also interested in a company who participates in community outreach, or is open to that concept in the future.I am excited to view my options in this next phase of my career.
