I am a seasoned senior software developer with a strong track record at Ciena, where I specialize in designing and deploying mission-critical applications across multiple platforms, including MCP and RLS. I play a pivotal role in the Liquid Spectrum (LQS) team, where I have led the integration of photonic layer applications into Ciena's product ecosystem, and led automation initiatives in the optical space. My career spans significant achievements, including securing key projects that have solidified LQS applications within Ciena's product portfolio. I bring expertise in scientific computing, performance optimization, and microservice development, alongside robust project management and leadership skills. Previously, I excelled in the 6500 Broadband team, developing embedded software for transponder control, where I focused on pluggable optics, optical protection switching, and hardware/software integration. My academic background includes a Master's in Mathematics from the University of Toronto, where I specialized in Operator Algebra, and a Bachelor's in Mathematics and Computer Science from the same institution.
