About Dilan Mustafa

I decided to base my study more on the general background of biomedical sciences when I came to George Mason, which is still a study I wish to experience. Over the past years, the classes I took at George Mason University have helped me to develop an understanding of comprehensive biological sciences.I have experienced in the medical field during an internship before attending George Mason University. This internship allowed me to participate in the implementation of a wide range of clinical-oriented activities and learning experiences. It was my first experience to help patients and work alongside medical staff. I was allowed to measure and record height, weight, and vital signs which was a great experience. Having coordination and collaboration skills allowed me to develop relationships to establish a sense of community and belonging. Being a good listener and paying close attention to details helped me to develop relationships further with other members in the clinic. I mostly collaborated closely with up to four medical members, but I always supported others' self-confidence and reputation and showed respect for their views.
