About Don Newton

I have enjoyed more than 30 years in manufacturing, planning, logistics and purchasing roles across multiple industries globally. I've had the pleasure of working with and leading teams of outstanding professionals around the world and have a passion for designing, streamlining and improving processes, whether they be manufacturing systems, business processes, or logistics systems. My latest role as Director of Manufacturing for Accelerated Filtration allows me to draw upon all that experience and to work with a stellar group of experts in the water filtration industry. Accelerated Filtration, Inc. is the design and production firm behind the patented VelRay X™ suspended solids management system. The system removes suspended solids in water streams and provides access to difficult water ppm) with speed and reliability. It’s an innovative filter that is scalable so that it can handle any water filtration project regardless of the size.
