I am a Career Strategist who is passionate about empowering my clients with the tools and strategies needed to help them discover their career path. By leveraging their success factors, I guide clients to uncover their professional and vocational goals. I derive immense pleasure when a client comes to realize their unique selling proposition. My experience as an HR professional has taught me the intricacies of how jobs are developed, evaluated and weighted against industry standards. I have the “behind the desk” experience of what businesses are seeking in terms of skills and background. This knowledge enables me to teach my clients how to effectively brand and market themselves to potential employers. As a Career Development Practitioner I am very excited at the prospect of expanding my experience through working with diverse clientele including students and newcomers. I believe in bringing an “open heart and open mind” approach to this career to capture the best results from my clients. Through my experience at George Brown College I have come to realize that I can achieve these results both in person and virtually. The unique talents I bring to this field are coaching, career planning, active engagement with clients, job search and recruitment skills and group facilitation.
