About Doug Thom

Despite a passion for biologically inspired robots I have been in information and application architectures, design, and development since 1994 when I started my own business. I have worked within companies, with consulting organizations, and on my own. I have enjoyed experiences with small and large teams, and with many types of businesses, processes, and data. My interest in Six Sigma adds a critical and quantitative dimension to the solutions I engineer. My clients often comment not only on my creativity but my ability to describe obscure or advanced strategies and technologies in easy, well defined ways that allow everybody in the business to participate in the solution. Ask me for examples - I enjoy sharing every one of my projects. Specialties: Adaptable to any process in an organization; creative, cross-industry solutions; quantitative, critical analysis of the problem used through to QA of the solution; I don't make the information and processes you use - I make the information and the processes you use BETTER.
