About Dryele Sasso

I am working as a Material Engineer at the Product and Process department at Wheaton (Glass Industry) since 2013. In March 2018 I have concluded my Master degree in Mechanical Engineering at FEI university, presenting the thesis "Producing ambar glass by the color-feeder process from the flint glass.". I performed several process improvements in manufacturing operation, related to equipment lifetime, mold recover process time, improve the exchange of information between the areas, process specifications to reduce glass defects, and others, always focusing on cost reduction and improvement of quality. I have strong skills in research & problem analysis. I have worked in undergraduate research projects related to environmental waste problems (Phosphogypsum), extended mold life for the glass containers and development of new process to product amber glass. I also have strong experience with root cause analysis by Ishikawa diagram, 5W1H, as well as continuous improvement program, Lean manufacturing, SIPOC, management corrective and preventive actions, process analysis by CEP, computer simulation (Abaqus & ANSA) and audits. I am yellow belt and 5S instructor. I am proactive and committed to all my task, always trying to reach the best solution. As knowledge is a passion for me, I am always studying and updating my acquaintance with new theories and technologies. My curiosity in many areas of research allowed me to improve my general background and also my self knowledge.
