About Dylan Cooper

I have always had a strong passion for both communication and sports. Two things that, when combined, can leave a lasting mark on the world. Using my competitiveness and desire to win from my years of representative sports, I decided to pursue a career in public relations at Durham College. The Advanced Diploma program has helped me strengthen my writing and interpersonal skills, and has provided me with amazing opportunities to begin my career. These opportunities have come in the form of multiple communications internships from well-known and recognisable organisations. I have had the chance to work within the non-profit sector with The Children's Wish Foundation in both their National and Ontario Chapter offices. As well, I have had the pleasure to dip my feet in the sports industry pool with an internship at TSN, the leader in Canadian sports. This has all led me to where I am today, as one of the few members of the National Hockey League's Social Media team. My determination, positive energy, and communications skills are a vital asset to where I am today. I am consistently eager to learn each day and very excited to continue my journey in my professional career.
