About Dylan Paul

Hi, My name is Dylan Paul and I am currently a Freelance Video Editor. I am a graduate from the Digital Filmmaking and video production program at The Art Institute Of California-Hollywood with a Bachelor’s of Science degree and am currently doing freelance work for a streaming network editing promos and trailers for upcoming content and have worked for a wedding video editing company. I’ve always had a passion for editing, filmmaking, and creating a cohesive story out of small incoherent parts, for me that’s the fun part of filmmaking, taking all the footage you or some one else has shot and turn it into something understandable and exciting. For the years during my education at the Art institute, I’ve learned about all aspects of film and video production, from pre-production, production, and post- production, also including an education in screenwriting. I have varied experience using cameras, such as The Cannon t1i, t3i, 5D, 5D Mark II, 7D, and 7D mark II. In addition to camera experience I have varied experience working with different editing software such as, Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve and Final Cut pro 7, I also have beginner experience with pro tools, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and Avid Media Composer.
