I am currently a Talent Management Intern at Valley Bank, where I have been gaining invaluable hands-on experience in HR within a dynamic and forward-thinking financial institution. This role has provided me with a deep dive into talent management, from assisting in recruitment to designing and implementing employee development initiatives for the Valley Intern Program and Retail Banking roles. Through this experience, I have enhanced my strategic understanding of attracting and retaining top talent while fostering a culture of engagement and growth. Additionally, I have strengthened my skills in data analysis, project management, and communication while aligning with Valley Bank’s mission and values. Previously, I served as a Service Manager at Chipotle Mexican Grill, where I led a team of 20+ employees, overseeing daily operations to ensure exceptional customer service, food quality, and compliance with safety standards. Throughout my six-year tenure, I was promoted twice in recognition of my leadership, operational expertise, and dedication. My role encompassed hiring, training, and coaching staff, as well as managing inventory, payroll, and budgets. By implementing process improvements and best practices, I successfully increased sales, reduced turnover, and enhanced customer satisfaction. I am currently pursing a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Rutgers University–New Brunswick (Class of 2025). My passion lies in understanding human behavior and motivation to create positive, high-performing work environments. My coursework has covered organizational psychology, labor relations, diversity and inclusion, and performance management, equipping me with a strong foundation to navigate the complexities of HR.
