About Ed Nolan

I joined Lafata Contract Services (LCS), in the role of Principal Consultant in June, 2022. I am currently supporting Washington Gas Light company as a Work Management Consultant. Prior to joining LCS, I worked for PECO Energy in multiple roles over a 40 year career. I retired from PECO Energy in 2021, where I was the Manager, Gas Construction & Maintenance. In this role I directed and managed the Gas Construction and Maintenance group consisting of 11 direct Management position s and approximately 190 indirect line mechanics in the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of PECO’s gas facilities. Prior to that position, I held the position of Manager of Work Management, where I led multiple teams in identifying and implementing business opportunities. In these roles, I drew on my expertise in budgeting, resource planning, project management, experience assessment and over 15 years of managing bargaining unit and professional employees. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University in Philadelphia and is a retired licensed Professional Engineer in Pennsylvania. In addition to my role as Principal Consultant, I am the owner of enol vineyards, a start-up wine production company. Some time around 2008, I tried my hand at making wine as a hobby. Over the years, I’ve made hundreds of gallons of wine, sharing it with friends and neighbors, and the feedback has always been extremely positive. After retiring in 2021, I decided to expand my hobby into a small mom and pop business to share my passion with others.
