About Edward Fox

I love coding! I picked up my first Python book 10 years ago, and wrote my first Python script -"print(hello world)", and was hooked - I was introduced to a world of learning, creativity, logic, problem-solving, frustration, Googling, more frustration, perseverance, pride and achievement. I enjoyed coding so much I went on to study a low-level college course in Digital Media straight through to a degree in Software Engineering. My coding journey was rarely easy, but my love of problem-solving and passion for learning new technologies and skills meant I learned from my failures and improved on my successes. I now have the privilege of passing on my passion for technology and coding(I teach Python) to younger generations through teaching, which I really enjoy. My role has reinforced other skills - building positive relationships, strong communication skills, planning, collaboration - all skills which I also have to demonstrate and teach daily. I have gained lot's of experience over the years. So far I have used C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL, Python, Java, GitHub - I have used these technologies for desktop and mobile application development. I have previously studied MVC(Model-View-Controller) and MVVM(Model-View-ViewModel) design methods, Object-Oriented Design Principals, Agile Project Management. Currently I am focused on working through a JavaScript boot camp to refresh my knowledge, and am interested in learning the NetSuite ERP - trying to figure out some way to learn NetSuite!
