About Eeva Siljander

As an employee and colleague, I like logic and accuracy. I have always had a need to understand my environment and the chosen solutions. And my task is to make others understand these solutions as well. I want to raise the level of the given instructions and communication. I firmly believe in responsibility, customer success, courage, cooperation and leadership. I am fortunate to be able to use my nursing background in my current job as a designer. My past has taught me to evaluate and monitorate - to be accurate and document everything. It has given me the understanding of healthcare environment. Working formerly as a system specialist has given me the understanding of the used mobile consept and other production groups in our company. In my current position as a designer I’m glad to work with keen professionals. I’m pleased to be part of a team that works for better tools to make healthcare professionals’ work easier and more efficient. I believe there’s a lot to accomplish with mobile solutions in hospital environment. We can improve these solutions for our customers. In order to produce these better solutions, we also need to improve the definition of needs. We succeed in this by utilizing use case descriptions. 🤓 As a designer I’m sort of jack of all trades: I understand the customer interface and end-users (healthcare professionals), I’m skilled in Healthcare Information Technologies (HIT), I partisipate in the developing, implementation and maintenance of mobile services. A big part of my work includes working as a specialist in projects. I am always willing to learn more and listen to others point of views. I will lead but I’ll do it by my own example.
