Background

About Eleanor Soames

Throughout my working life I have strived to improve the lives of others. I have fundraised for the charity sector, worked in a one to one personal setting enabling sufferers of mental health to reintegrate and thrive in their community and most recently have worked in Local Government Planning and Regeneration departments where my passion lies. I have a keen interest and desire to create places and spaces that functions for people and nature. Local Government provided the platform to strategically plan and deliver holistic visions while knowing the nuances on the ground. I have a particular interest in the response to the Climate Emergency. Regeneration, development and construction each have their roles to play embedding sustainability, circular economy and environmental principles, at small and large scale to future proof our towns and cities.
