About Elizabeth Arnold

I've known I wanted to make games since I was 13, and have been working towards that goal ever since. Today, I am a Technical Designer working with the awesome Housing team on Singularity 6’s Palia!Unlike books or movies, games have an interactivity element- you don't watch or read games, you play them. In games, the message and experience is conveyed organically through a player's own choices and inputs, animating the media in a way nothing else can. Plus, games can be a shared experience that connects people online who would never have otherwise had the chance to meet, which I think is incredible for breaking down the barriers that exist between people all over the world. I often say that if video games are magic- and I do think they are- then I would very much like to be a wizard!
