About Elize Kok

I am intrigued by strategies that make students develop a love for learning that will make them embark on a journey of discovery. I’ve been in the Education industry for 19 years. I’ve been Head of faculties, Curriculum developer across a few subjects and grades, Moderator, Sub-examiner and Marker. I’ve lead various teams, coached a few sports and mentored graduates and colleagues. I also did fundraisers, events and I’ve build community. On the side, I ran my own wedding decor business for many years, this enabled me to put my business knowledge into action. In the midst of this, I developed a special interest in discovering three things: The heart of leadership, the heart of the holistic student, and how different approaches to assessment / feedback impacts positive outcomes and the probability of success, whilst maintaining academic excellence.
