Experienced teacher and middle leader who has joined the theatre production and promotion industry. Passionate about theatre, a first class honours degree from Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama led to an excellent knowledge of performing and being on stage. Now providing key logistic and organisational support for touring musicians and performers nationally and internationally. Clear communication skills utilised when programming shows into theatres across the UK. Self-motivated and able to manage a variety of job roles including, but not limited to, management of vehicles including a sleeper bus; arranging accommodation across the UK; processing financial settlements from theatres; liaising with external theatre staff about technical riders; and communicating with front of house about merchandise sales. Prior to this, a demonstrated history of working in the education industry. Skilled in lesson planning, educational technology, numeracy, classroom management, developing oracy in the classroom and curriculum development. Remote Learning Lead for a large primary school during COVID-19 home learning. Led trust-wide change when redeveloping the humanities curriculum and ensured other teachers were on board.
