About Ellen Whitman Stoddard

With over 15 years of experience in international education and experiential learning and a doctorate in curriculum, teaching, learning and leadership I am committed to empirically based, creative and analytical solutions to advance experiential program design, implementation and evaluation. I have maintained high-stakes partnerships, developed global student support services, conducted qualitative research and collaborated with faculty on curriculum design. My detail oriented, highly collaborative and communicative approach incorporates viewpoints and interests of diverse stakeholders. I can managing multiple projects and work effectively in fast paced, changing environments. I am committed to bridging research and practice, DEI, intercultural competence, shared leadership, and data-driven change/improvement. My academic research experience includes an exploratory study examining motivation and preparation for STEM careers among underrepresented girls and students of color at a project-based learning program. Dissertation research examined the transitions and skillsets of women STEM professionals working in high school project-based learning.
