About Elyse Lindgren

I am passionate about climate action and dedicated to finding solutions that reduce emissions in the energy sector. My career is driven by high-impact work that contributes to the well-being of both this planet and my community. I navigate my professional journey by focusing on three key questions: What brings me joy? What work needs to be done? What am I skilled in?(Shout out to Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson's Climate Venn Diagram.) I have intentionally developed my skills and pursued opportunities that align with these principles. My experience includes crafting a municipal climate action plan, teaching climate change fundamentals, and collaborating with Indigenous Nations to advance long-term community resiliency plans. Currently, I focus on energy efficiency and emissions reduction in the built environment through home retrofitting projects. Throughout my career, I have honed skills in policy analysis, community engagement, facilitation, report writing, GHG accounting, and data analysis. I am excited to further develop these skills as I advance my career in the energy sector and built environment.
