About Emily MacKenzie

Prior to joining Brightmine, I worked as the Commercial Director at Contentive, and held senior positions at Gulf Energy Information, Euromoney Institutional Investor, and Haymarket Business Media. At Brightmine, I lead the market planning and product management functions, working with the Senior Leadership Team to define the company’s growth strategy and product vision for each key market/segment and then delivering it in partnership with colleagues in technology and other functions. I regularly engage with customers and the wider market to understand the evolving priorities of HR leaders to ensure that Brightmine is investing in differentiated data, insights, and capabilities that are genuinely needed and useful. For more than 20 years, Brightmine™, formerly XpertHR, has worked with over customers, partners, and employees, innovating with new technology and getting to know what shapes the world’s most successful businesses and workforces. As we’ve grown in both the depth and breadth of our products, solutions and markets served, we continue to focus on helping our customers navigate the ever more complicated world of work with confidence. My linguistic abilities are not just a personal interest but a professional asset. I’m fluent in Spanish, French, and German, and actively seeking opportunities to learn other languages. I live in southeast London with my wonderful wife and three beautiful children. I am the proud Chair of Governors at Stillness Junior School and a trustee at Charity Digital Trust.
