About Emily Odoherty

I am a Queen's University BA(H) alumna with a major in health studies and a minor in french. Throughout my time at Queen's, I gained practical and theoretical knowledge in health promotion. I am passionate about this field because it gives me the potential to positively impact the emotional and/or physical health of individuals directly or indirectly. I am particularly interested in environmental health justice, mental health, working with individuals with disabilities, community outreach, harm reduction, and working with children/youth. My experience with the YMCA of Niagara has helped me develop many skills that I believe can only be taught through experience. I am a very open-minded individual, always eager to try something new. Peers and co-workers have described me as energetic, empathetic, a leader, approachable, passionate, unique and outgoing. I would love to have a conversation about any of these topics.
