About Emily Reiser

A Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) currently working within Geriatric Nutrition and licensed in PA and FL. I previously obtained my Associates of Science in Biology (3.64 GPA) in 2019, Bachelor of Science in Nutrition (B.S.N.) in dietetics (3.87 GPA) in 2021 and graduated from Mayo Clinics Dietetic Internship in 2022 with 1360+ hours of experience in 10+ clinical nutrition areas and 3 community programs. I have learned how to work cohesively within interdisciplinary teams and how to manage the roles of educator, manager, assessor, presenter and advocate while leading nutrition departments at 2 PACE centers. I get excited when I am able to help members in my community and have a specific interest in nutrition behavior change. I completed a Pediatric and Adult Obesity course from the Commission on Dietetic Registrations in February 2023 and intend to continue to use the information I learned to help the patients I work with. Working within the PACE program model allows me to continue to gain experience in clinical, community and food service settings providing the ability to provide support in simple ways such as easy to prepare meal ideas and energy conservation ideas when preparing meals to helping dialysis patients, malnourished patients, diabetics and much more. I am continually trying to gain new experiences as a dietitian including analyzing diets in a diabetes prevention program to writing for the geriatric dietitian blog. I am intrigued and excited to connect with new colleagues in the field and am very open to new volunteer experiences to expand my scope as a dietitian.
