I have over 30 years of experience in health care. I have held the roles of Patient Safety Analyst/Consultant, Patient Safety Officer, Patient Safety/Quality Specialist and Nursing Home Administrator at a variety of organizations. I have had responsibility for providing patient safety and quality improvement leadership for projects such as conducting proactive and reactive causal analysis, data analytics, management of continuous improvement teams, health IT safety, medication safety initiatives and Team STEPPS facilitation. Areas of expertise include: healthcare administration, patient safety, quality and risk management, performance improvement, regulatory affairs and accreditation, data analytics, health information technology, medication safety and service line development.
