About Emma Bos

I started my academic career with a BASc in Engineering Physics from Queen's University, where radiation laboratories and courses in particle physics sparked an interest in radiation protection, detection, and the management of radiation sources. With a strong foundation in physics, mathematics, and engineering, I sought higher education into dosimetry and nuclear response. Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering, further deepening my expertise in the field of radiology and health physics. With a keen interest in understanding radiation and measuring radiation dose, I am conducting research using electron paramagnetic resonance dosimetry under the supervision of Dr. Ed Waller. My academic experience has honed my problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and research proficiency. I am excited about the intersection of nuclear technology and dosimetry, and I am always looking for ways to apply my knowledge and skills to research and problem-solving in the energy industry.
