About Emma Leonardi

I am a dual citizen of Italy and the US, with an American mother and Italian father. I am a native English and Italian speaker, proficient in Spanish and currently learning Arabic. I presently divide my time between the Middle East, Italy and the US. I completed primary and middle school in Italy, high school and part of college in the US, finishing in Florence with a degree in “Business of Fashion”. From my formal education, I have developed an interest in brands and marketing. I spent a good portion of the Covid lockdown volunteering with children in various countries in Africa. Working with children has always been a joy for me. I also have a passion for fitness, health, nutrition, and wellness, and became a personal trainer with additional certificates for teaching children and nutrition. I am an adventurous spirit and avid solo traveler, having visited over 40 countries. Traveling gives me purpose and I’m very proud to have the ability to adapt and to change through the diverse cultures and languages I have been exposed to, and will continue to make the world my home. I see myself melding all these skills and passions, to develop a career in the business of wellness, hospitality and travel. I most recently worked in the leading global education travel corporation, organizing school trips for middle and high schools. I have strong organizational and project planning/management skills, great attention to detail, and am agile and accountable. I treasure being true to myself and others and hold myself to the highest standard of integrity. Empathy gives me insight into human frailty. My last position was fully remote, and I therefore know what it means to organize my day around Teams meetings, break-out sessions, one-on-ones, research, goal-setting, project planning, and my quiet time for working. My ideal position would balance individual work with interaction with others, have clear short- and long-term goals with enough direction to be successful in fulfilling them. I am open to any version or facet of my interests and experience and consider myself an asset to any team. I am always willing to travel and cultivate relationships that will bring us successful business.
