With a can-do attitude and an ability to adapt to changing working conditions and technologies, I enjoy ‘being thrown in at the deep end’ and have developed a reputation for problem solving. My career has evolved through idea generation, problem solving and building reliable relationships with stakeholders. I am very organised and have a hands-on approach with any teams or clients I deal with. I always try to bring out the best in the people I work with. I have had a diverse career, starting at Reuters as a Customer Support Executive supporting the fixed income and equity markets. After this role, I ran my own business as a learning consultant and a project manager. I have worked in similar roles in recruitment, as an Election Officer and in training for IT companies, which also included relationship management. I have knowledge of the financial industry through the equity and fixed income markets (ISMA/ICMA 2003) and the TAP training qualification and NVQ level 4 in Learning and Development. I also have experience of coaching individuals, identifying outcomes and providing motivation and inspiration.
