About Erhan Ermek

With over eight years of experience as a Research Engineer at Koç University, I have actively contributed to numerous research projects with a focus on sensor technology. My role involves spearheading test and validation processes, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of sensor-based data. Leveraging my expertise in biomedical engineering, I specialize in experimental design, meticulous data collection, and comprehensive analysis. Utilizing advanced tools such as LabVIEW, I meticulously oversee the calibration and optimization of sensors and circuits to meet rigorous standards. In addition to my technical contributions, I actively engage in the preparation of project reports and proposals, collaborating closely with esteemed professors, esteemed postdoctoral researchers, and ambitious graduate students. My dedication to excellence is reflected in my authorship of 12 international publications and presentations at esteemed national and international conferences, where I have showcased our cutting-edge sensor technologies. Furthermore, my entrepreneurial spirit led me to participate in a pioneering start-up venture focusing on biosensor development. This endeavor provided me with invaluable exposure, including entrepreneurship training in London and networking opportunities with industry giants like Bayer and Chugai. I am deeply committed to advancing the field of biomedical engineering, driven by my passion to introduce innovative sensor solutions that positively impact human health and well-being.
