About Eric Gal

I have much dramatic and literary experience from my years at UNCG due to the pursuit of my two bachelor's degrees. I also obtained a minor in History. I started teaching at Noble Academy in Fall 2011 and have taught Drama/Theatre Arts, English, and Social Studies classes to students in grades 7-12. I have taught Stage Combat to students at various schools, as well as at the Greensboro Cultural Arts Center. My experience as a Theatre teacher has grown due to teaching and learning from numerous workshops facilitated by the North Carolina Theatre Arts Educators, of which I am a member, as well as engaging in the Teaching Shakespeare Through Performance program at the Globe Theatre in London, England, in the summer of 2013. I have been in some Community Theatre productions at Winston-Salem Theatre Alliance as well as professional acting and stage combat jobs with the Shared Radiance Company in Pleasant Garden. I consider myself a kind and caring individual who is good at facilitating group activities and who works hard to meet my students at their level, make them feel valued as people, and encourage them to grow in their skills and areas of interest.
