I am the CEO of Power of Babel – powerofbabel.com – a company that provides language services – dubbing, subtitling and translation – to producers, filmmakers, marketers and educators. • We dub and subtitle feature films, documentaries and TV shows. • We version video and e-learning content into any of the world's languages. • We translate everything from legal contracts, to scripts, to documentary rushes. In short, we help audiovisual producers navigate today’s globalized world. Here's who we help: • FILMMAKERS and TV PRODUCERS, especially those in Ontario, Canada, who can claim provincial tax credits for our work. • CONTENT PRODUCERS, AGENCIES AND COMPANIES that need to reach audiences worldwide and Canada's immigrant communities. • E-LEARNING COMPANIES that need to deliver training in English, French and Spanish, as well as many other languages. • LABOUR UNIONS, NGOs AND OTHER NON-PROFITS whose members and stakeholders speak a variety of languages. Power of Babel has extensive experience in diverse voice casting. We believe representation and equity are essential, and we have a long track record of casting BIPOC voices in our dubbing productions. Before I started Power of Babel, I spent more than 20 years working as a writer and director in non-fiction film and television, so I know production and post-production inside out.
