My book "Apocalypse Near"; just won the 2010 Green Book Festival award for best Interactive book. The Green Book Festival honors books that contribute to greater understanding, respect for & positive action on the changing worldwide environment. I'll be attending the award ceremony in San Francisco & attempting to use this momentum to jump start film production again. Background in creative writing, novel length fiction & narrative non fiction, feature length screenwriting & film production. My book is an experiment in narrative non-fiction that I call a "Metaphysical ODDyssey" because it draws on my recent clinical death experience & fuses it with fiction in order to inspire people to form a symbiotic relationship with our biosphere. It's a mystery/psychological thriller on a mission. You can learn more about it on my website: or ask me for a copy. It is an interactive book that links with webspaces I created where the characters have an ongoing existence. I also have experience on large commercial film productions as well as my own film, video & music productions. Have worked as a professional touring/recording musician for most of my life; made records for Blue Note/Capitol (with a band named "ManChild" Made several Indie labelrecords.(apartment bedroom labels, not Matador, but who knows what's next in this biz)."Liquid Funk","Vehicle""Auditorium","MediaWhore", etc, etc. Produced a record or two myself. I have written several feature length films (one of which was optioned by an early incarnation of The Sci-Fi Channel).
