About Eric Stein

With over five years of experience in teaching and research, I am a dedicated and educator with ample undergraduate teaching and mentoring experience at institutions like Allan Hancock College and UC Santa Barbara. My mission is to foster critical thinking and societal understanding in my students, using a multidisciplinary approach that integrates quantitative and qualitative methods. I am a scholar of political science with a specialization in international relations, with an emphasis on issues like international political economy, global public policy, and international organizations. As a skilled researcher and communicator, I have advanced analytic proficiency in statistical models, data visualization, causal inference, and written and visual presentations. I can effectively convey complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, using my fluency in English, Spanish, and French. I also enjoy mentoring undergraduate independent research projects and sharing my knowledge and insights with others.
