About Eric Sullivan

Hi, my name is Eric Sullivan and I'm an Enterprise Applications Developer at Messer Americas. As a part of the Enterprise Application Development team, I help develop, support, and enhance Messer's Enterprise Applications and processes. I primarily work within Microsoft's Azure Cloud platform. The extensive suite of tools within Azure gives me a variety of options to approach any business problem and craft a reliable solution. I've automated many processes with PowerShell to run via Azure Automation Accounts. I've conducted multiple migrations of processes from on-premises to Azure. This typically requires me to create documentation, meet with clients to gather requirements, configure resources in Azure, and refactor scripts to operate successfully in the cloud. Other duties of mine include developing and supporting Robotic Process Automation software robots, utilizing the Automation Anywhere platform. As of August 2022, I have graduated from Messer's Graduate Development Program. This program consisted of 3 eight-month rotations, allowing me to gain exposure to a multitude of teams and processes across the company. My first rotation was in Project Management, where I served as a liaison between Messer's IT team and our vendor's technical team. The goal of our project was to enhance our business' cash collection process and ultimately improve customer satisfaction. My second rotation was in Supply Chain, where I assisted in gathering data and analyzing model output to better optimize our supply chain network. My final rotation was in Robotic Process Automation, where I developed and supported RPA software bots to automate repetitive processes within the business. I had valuable experiences from all 3 of my rotations which I feel prepared me for my landing role as an associate developer in our Enterprise Application Development team.
