About Erin Black

I'm super passionate about connections between food and the community! My compassion, patience, and engagement skills have been developed through years of work in the food service industry. The industry was a good support financially during my time at University for Nutritional Sciences. However, with graduation right around the corner, I'll be looking for an opportunity to enter the workforce and get involved with community food systems! My deepest passion is to improve our community's relationship with the earth and help localize the food systems which support them. Supporting underprivileged populations is currently a main objective in the fight for reengaging those who are most in need of support and reconnection. So, I hope to be a part of the solution, to bridge the gaps between sustainable, local food systems, and those member of our community who need support the most.
